Great casual basics seem to be something I gravitate more and more towards as of late. What I love about this particular pairing is first: the classic black and white color combo, but also, the fact that both pants and top have a few special details that add a layer of interest to these otherwise very casual items.
The top is my absolute favorite right now! Aside from the fact that I love the length (cropped, yet it still offers a fair amount of coverage), I also really like the skinny straps/halter strap combo because it creates such an interesting neckline. Throw in the fact that it’s made from the softest stretch jersey and you got yourself a pretty perfect top! Oh, and it’s also on 50% SALE right now at just $30!
The pants are yet another amazing Net-a-Porter SALE find! Soft and comfortable, I am also living for that super cool mesh insert at the waistline! For today’s look I paired them with my Isabel Marant sneakers, which, but the way are also on SALE right now.
