I can’t believe I took dressing up to go out for granted. Though it is such a small thing, somehow putting on a pretty dress and going out to a nice dinner with my husband felt like such a treat after spending months in my sweats at home. While we stayed at MacArthur Place in Sonoma County we took full advantage of their beautiful outdoor restaurant and went out for dinner every night. This was probably one of my favorite outfits, for I am always partial to a good lace number!

Elegant, pretty and feminine, there is just something absolutely magical about a good lace dress. Midi is having a particularly important moment this season, and I love the way we are opting for flats, rather than heels in an effort to add a bit of effortless chic to this otherwise very dressy look.
