Loungewear sets are definitely not just for home anymore! Comfortable & stylish, they can be dressed up or down & worn at home or outside.

Case in point the cashmere loungewear set I am wearing in today’s post. One of my favorite things to wear at the moment (see it here styled up with sandals & blazer, and here styled down with a trench & combat boots), I love that it works as a set, but I can also easily wear the pieces separately.

For everyday, I love to pair it with cute sneakers like these fuzzy Golden Goose high-tops and a loose-fitting coat. Pairing loungewear sets with sharper pieces like coats and cool sneakers gives them a bit more polish, which makes for a perfect wear-anywhere casual look.

Since loungewear sets are such a trend at the moment, there are definitely a few different styles to choose from.

Crop top/straight leg pant loungewear sets have a slightly dressier feel and work great with polished pieces on top. For example, you can wear them with blazers, sharp coats and oversized shackets or shirts.

There is also of course the classic sweatpants/hoodie loungewear set combo, which is perfect for pairing with sportier pieces like sneakers, bomber jackets or oversized coats. P.S. If you like this look, go for a version in powder blue. This color is huge this season, and will give your basics a nice style update.

Since we’re heading into warmer month, the crop top/knit shorts loungewear sets are also something to consider. If you like to play up your casual pieces this particular type of loungewear set works great with dressier items. Style them up with an oversized blazer and a pair of strappy sandals. Obviously, you can still dress them down with some cute sneakers and an oversized shacked or shirt.
