Hello Everyone, so I wanted to take this opportunity to share a few things I am loving at the moment starting with this gorgeous Jugs Jug Vase by Anissa Kermiche. Though initially I was on the hunt for the stark white or black version, I came across this dusty rose and fell in love with it.
Esthetics aside, what I love about Anissa Kermiche earthenware is the fusion of art and the love of womanhood. Most of her pieces are inspired by the female form and the classical antiquity, and I absolutely adore her very modern and perhaps slightly deconstructed reinterpretation of these classics.
Though I have always been a fan of Hourglass cosmetics, their newest launches have been seriously phenomenal. The Velvet Story Lip Cream in Indulge is my new go-to everyday lip color. I love matte lipsticks, and this lip mousse creates the most gorgeous soft-matte finish which is very comfortable to wear (some matte lipsticks can be and feel very drying).
Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick is yet another recent discovery. Love that the color is buildable, so you can go for a natural or dramatic look depending on occasion. I went with Dusty Rose shade and I am obsessed! By the way, I also use it on my lips and eyes for a very pretty everyday monochrome look.
I’ve been waiting to try Research Skincare Products ever since I heard rumors that Tom Ford is finally doing a full skincare line! And let me tell you… it did not disappoint! I just came back from a trip to Palm Springs (extreme heat and zero humidity) and it kept my skin from turning into a desert.
The range is incredibly soothing and moisturizing, but I particularly love that it does not make my combination skin feel oily or greasy. If you ever suffer from dehydrated skin (think oily, flaky and dry at the same time) this line is definitely something you should try. I tend to suffer from dehydrated skin during the Summer months especially, and this line has helped me get back to normal within a week!
