Don’t get me wrong, denim mini skirts will never go out of style… They are classic, a staple, and definitely something you should wear if that’s what you like! But… if you’re looking for an update, this season’s trendier version, i.e. a denim midi or even maxi is definitely something you should try!

How I love to wear my midi denim skirts… Typically, I like to pair them with something form fitting like the staples knit top from Khaite I’ve been wearing with practically everything lately!

Black for summer, seriously? Well… yes, because there is something super chic about black and denim pairing, and you can always introduce a bit of color with your accessories.

A black little strapless number like this will be a well used closet staple because you’ll be able to pair it with pretty much everything!

Although we are wearing everything with flats this summer, I think denim midi or maxi skirts look particularly chic paired with heels. Denim skirts are inherently casual and heels help to elevate them to a much more polished and chic level.
